About The Lighter Side of RC
The Lighter Side Of RC started simply with trying to find a way to share my Knowledge and Passion of the RC Aviation Hobby with others. For about 10 years prior to its conception, I have been building aircraft, flying aircraft and fixing aircraft for myself and others. In the fall of 2019 I figured it was time to share these builds and repairs with others, with the hopes that fellow modellers could gain some knowledge and techniques.
The Youtube Channel “The Lighter Side Of RC” was created and the first project featured on the channel was a build of a Composite ARF (CARF) 1/4 Scale L-39 Turbine powered Aircraft. In a very short time the Channel was growing in momentum and subscribers. The L-39 was completed in the early part of 2020 and numerous other projects were completed and featured throughout the 2020 calendar year. The Lighter Side Of RC Channel also features flight based videos because we can’t spend all our time in the shop!
The Channel and concept of The Lighter Side Of RC has received tremendous support from sponsors and viewers! My mind is blown with what has happened so far and the future is so exciting!
